Cosmos Yachting is a worldwide yacht charter company with offices in London, Munich, Athens, and Seoul.
We set sail for the first time back in 1987 and, thanks to our untiring commitment, have continued to make waves in the industry ever since. Our success is underpinned by seamless communication coupled with first-rate customer service. As well as chartering and selling sailing yachts, we also offer power boats and catamarans – both with and without crew.
What’s more, we are now the market leader in the pre-owned yacht market in Greece. From day one our philosophy has been to provide high quality yachting holidays that promote relaxation, fun and an unrivalled sense of freedom. We treat customers as individuals and take time to listen to your requirements, so you can be sure you will get the holiday you want. But don’t just take our word for it, put us to the test. Besides small, medium, and large vessels, there are sailing yachts, catamarans as well as motorboats. Cosmos Yachting doesn’t really offer “package holidays”, as we view individual yacht charters as customized vacations. Once the trip is plotted, we, along with the crew, work with a client to establish an itinerary solely based on the guests’ preferences.
Cosmos Yachting Timeline
Cosmos Yachting was founded in February 1987, in May we welcomed our first charter client. In January, our first participation, with an own booth at the “Boot”, the world’s largest indoor boat show. We expand and open our office (Cosmos Yachting Ltd.) in September in London, UK. In order to offer better services we open our office in Athens, Greece, Cosmos Hellas S.A. We run our first charter base in the Marina Alimos, Kalamaki in Athens. Later we open also charter bases in Kos, Rhodos, Corfu, Lavrion and Lefkas We cross the Atlantic Ocean with our Bavaria 50 “Jojo” and participate at the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers in the Caribbean Sea, St. Lucia. We become dealer in Greece for the Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH. In order to have better quality control for our yacht we founded our own maintenance and service company, Alpha Technical Service. We are growing our charter services and become experts in the Crewed Mega and Superyacht charter market. We develop our own CRM and Web based IT in order to offer high end customer service to our clients. The insurance company Yacht Pool introduces the “financial security system”. The members are being checked and insured against bankruptcy, so clients money is always safe. Cosmos is member since day one. We introduce Aegean Party Life, a flotilla and cabin charter product for young people who want to experience the magic of sailing in Greece. We team up with Sunsail and Moorings and offer premium charter products worldwide. We establish one of the biggest Fun Regattas, the “Corfu Sailing Cup” in the Ionian Sea. We expand to new markets and founded the Company Hyundai & Cosmos in Seoul, South Korea and become the official dealer for Bavaria Yachts and Nautitech catamarans. We team up with the biggest Yachting company in China and offer special charter services. Our fleet of own yachts is growing to 58 sailing yachts, catamarans and one Motor yacht.
